Our auctions were designed so that the buyer and seller can both enjoy the best possible auction experience.
Sellers submit their cars to Porsche Marketplace Auctions from all over the United States and we select the most interesting and exciting ones to list for auction exclusively on our site.
We work with seller to help them craft an honest and informative listing for their vehicle using the seller's facts and photos
Porsche Marketplace Auctions have special features like community comments (these help people bid with confidence) and sniping protection (to give everyone a chance and help sellers get the best possible price).

You can register to bid by entering your credit card information on this page
you must be a registered user to enter your credit card. You will receive an email confirming your bidding status and you will be allowed to place a bid.
Your credit card is simply used to verify you as a serious bidder. You will NOT be charged unless you WIN an auction. If you win, we ONLY charge your card for 5% of the winning bid amount. You do NOT pay for the entire purchase with your credit card on file.
You type in the amount you would like to bid. The bid will advance to your entered amount and you will become the high bidder. Once you bid a popup will appear showing the amount that you are bidding and the premium that you are responsible for should you win the auction. Please be careful to enter the exact amount that you are willing to purchase the car.
If you win an auction we charge a 5% buyers premium on the final bid price if you win the auction and reserve has been met.
To comment or ask questions on a vehicle you need to create a free user account on this page
Once the auction closes & the reserve has NOT been met, the listing will be converted to a “Bid continued” listing for a period of 14 days where offers can be submitted.
It’s common in online auctions for buyers to use special software to enter a bid in the very last seconds of the auction to outbid others without giving them a chance to respond. During the last 2 minutes of Porschemarketplace Auctions, the clock resets to 2 minutes after every bid. This happens until no more bids are placed and the auction ends. This gives everyone a chance to place their bids and gives sellers a chance to sell to the true high bidder.
We do not cancel bids on the site. Please be very careful when placing your bid.
We announce when a vehicle is being offered at No Reserve by putting that information in the listing title. It is safe to assume that every other listing has a reserve. You can always check on the listing where it is stated above the bid bar if the vehicle has met reserve.
YES! at Porschemarketplace Auctions we are "Deal Makers" first and foremost. If a car did not sell at auction but you are still very interested, you can contact us directly and submit an offer through “Bid Continues” page and we can help broker a deal between you and the seller, before it becomes available again to the public or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All offerings through Porschemarketplace Auctions are for auction only. There are no Buy it Now (BIN) prices and sellers cannot sell vehicles outside of a live auction. If you wish to purchase a vehicle make sure you’re the high bidder!
During the live auction you will only be able to communicate with the seller by using the comments area. The winning bidder will be emailed the sellers contact information once the auction is over. *if a seller is unresponsive in the comments, you can contact us and we will relay your message to the seller.
The cost is $99.99 for a 7 day auction. *We GUARANTEE that your car sells by offering the only true "Risk-Free" auctions. If your vehicle does not sell during the auction, you receive a Premium Porschemarketplace listing! Our Marketplace ads are Run-til-Sold, which means no matter how long it takes, your ad stays live until the vehicle sells!

NO! We do not charge a seller's premium on the sale like most auction houses do. Simply pay the entry fee to list your car and that is all you will ever have to pay!
We give serious consideration to every vehicle submitted to us for auction. We will review your description, photos and if it has a reserve or not. We’ll get in touch with you with whatever decision we make. If you are not sure you can always shoot us an email with your vehicle details to email@example.com
We usually have a quick turn around and can review and verify your information within 48 hours and then schedule that auction to begin after that. No need to worry as we are here to help you through this process.
You know the car best but remember that we are here to help. You provide all the info that we request, then we will review so that it is consistent with the quality standards that Porsche Marketplace is known for. We may take it just as you have listed it or we may make some suggestions that will help it sell.
When an auction ends with a winning bid, we collect the buyer’s fee to confirm legitimacy and then we bring the buyer & seller together to finalize the deal. We suggest that you send the buyer a copy of the title and a bill of sale and that
you request a wire transfer or use a company like escrow.com before sending any original documents. We are happy to assist where needed and with things such as recommending a trusted shipper, insurance provider, or collector-car finance firm.
A reserve is the lowest price the seller will take to sell the vehicle. It is agreed upon between you and the Porsche Marketplace Auctions team before the auction goes live. If you want to lower your reserve after the auction starts, you
can absolutely do that as it will help the chance your car will sell. If you want to run your car with no reserve, we can do that, too. No-reserve auctions tend to attract additional attention and drive bidders wild, so we’re happy to accommodate those listings.
We would prefer to make every attempt to get the listing correct the first, rather than make any changes that would change a live auction. If you do have additional information that must be disclosed then you can add it to the comments section at the bottom of the listing, with a note stating that these
changes were added. You can answer bidders’ questions in the comments section yourself or contact us to be able to add images, videos, or copies of documents as requested.
Sure! If your auction doesn’t sell, we can run it through again if you are willing to lower the reserve. We also provide a discounted re-auction listing at only $49.00 We just ask that you wait 4-6 weeks before doing so.
Once an auction goes live, it runs for 7 days. The only stipulation is if a significant change to the vehicle occurs, such as damage or theft.
Sorry, currently we only offer auction listings to US residents. But we are working hard to get this feature added soon. However bidding IS allowed for non-US residents.
