This 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe has been completely redone and made into a 1973 Porsche Carrera RS Clone. It is finished in the beautiful Viper Green over a Black with Houndstooth lightweight interior and has just 6,000 original miles.
As mentioned previously in the intro text this RS Clone started off as an ulta-low mileage 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe (5,000 miles). All of the parts were sourced new from Porsche aside from the ducktail spoiler. These parts included fenders, hood, bumpers, lights and "Carrera" sidescript.
The interior of this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe RS Clone uses the 1994 Speedster Recaro seats and RS America style door panels. Both front seats were reupholstered in Black leather with the vintage Houndstooth inserts.
The rear seats were deleted and a lightweight carpet was fitted to the vehicle. A Momo steering wheel was installed as well.
The seller mentions that the engine displacement was enlarged to 3.4 liters using forged pistons, carillo rods, billet race cams, ported/polished heads, TWM throttle bodies, Motec M48 ECU engine management, Denso crank fire ignition, SSI headers & sport muffler.
The suspension on this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe RS Clone was upgraded with Bilstien RSR adjustable coilovers, Eibach springs, adjustable sway bars, limited slip differential and larger 944 Turbo Front brake calipers.
