This is a very nice low mileage example of a 1991 Porsche 964 turbo coupe in the highly desirable color combination of Black on Black! This 964 turbo is equipped with a manual transmission and has only been driven 34,xxx original miles.
With only 34k original miles you can assure that this vehicle is still in excellent condition. The seller says that the exterior finish is nearly perfect with the fenders, doors, rear quarters, and roof all retaining their original paint while the front bumper and hood have been repainted. They do not list why it was repainted, but I would imagine it was to get rid of rock chips from driving.
The paint was recently professionally detailed and is said to have a high-gloss like new appearance.
There aren’t many interior pictures provided in the ad, but from the two posted the interior seems to also be in excellent condition. Nothing bad stands out. I do not see any cracks, rips, or tears present. There is minimal wear on both the driver and passenger seats, but that is expected.
Everything is in working order and all original inside other than an upgraded Alpine stereo. It is not specified if the original is included in the sale.
Previous owner comissioned a well known speed shot in Austin Texas to enhance the cars performance by installing a high-flow intercooler, ceramic ball bearing turbo, and performance clutch. These upgrades ran nearly $30,000 USD (all receipts are included).
Seller says that below 4,000 RPM the car starts, runs, and drives just like your everyday 964 but once you pass 4,000 RPM the car turns into a beast!
There is no mention of service records or manuals in the ad so I would definitely ask about that if you’re interested in purchasing this vehicle.
At the time of this post this vehicle has been listed for about a months time and their current asking price is $99,900.
