Today we are featuring a nice Kiln Red 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa with a Champagne leather interior. This 911 Targa has just over 67k miles and is of course paired with a 5 speed manual transmission.
The Kiln Red Metallic exterior looks to be in great condition all around. This specific color was an extra cost optional color that was only available for the 3.2 Carrera during the 1984 production year.
This Kiln Red 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa has most of its original paint but there was a respray on the driver side fender and door recently. The seller says that this was due to a scratch.
The body looks straight all around and the seller says that there isn’t any rust. I didn’t notice any major imperfections in the body but the seller does say that there are a few minor dings and paint touch up spots.
The Champagne leather interior looks like it has been pretty well taken care of as well. There aren’t any cracks in the dashboard but there definitely appears to be some warping issues. All components do appear to be present as well and a newer stereo has been installed. The original Blaupunkt stereo is included in the sale.
This Kiln Red 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa does have factory ordered leather sport seats. Both of these sport seats show a little bit of wear but I didn’t notice any major rips.
This 911 Targa currently has 67,270 original miles and is paired with a 5 speed manual transmission.
Overall this is a nice low mileage example of a 911 Targa in a special order color. Included in the sale is a clean title, owner’s manual and a stack of service records from 1988 through 2019. The CarFax report doesn’t show any accidents however there is some issue with the mileage reading. The seller says that the third owner’s wife accidentally recorded the mileage wrong when transferring it into her name but the service history indicates that the mileage is correct.
If this isn’t an issue for you, then this Kiln Red 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa could be the car for you! It is currently up for auction on eBay and is located in San Francisco CA. At the time of this post it is currently sitting at $14,433.03 with just over 5 days left to bid.
