Today we are featuring a nice driver 1988 Porsche 911 targa in the highly desirable Black on Black with 113,000 original miles and a very popular G50 manual transmission.
The Black exterior looks to be in great shape from the pictures provided. All body panels line up correctly and there aren’t any major scratches, dings, or dents that stand out. There is no mention on whether or not the paint has been resprayed anywhere or if it is original.
No pictures are provided of the Black leather interior but the seller claims that it is in like new condition and that everything functions correctly.
Car fires up immediately without issues. Seller says that steering and suspension are like new. No smoke, oil leaks, or odd noises present. A major recent service was last performed in January of 2015 that included brakes and a major engine and transmission service.
Tires are also said to be in great condition with plenty of tread left.
Overall this G50 targa looks to be in excellent condition for being driven 113,xxx miles. It does have what I believe are 993 Turbo Twist wheels rather than the original Fuchs that it should have. Some may see this as an upgrade, while others will desire the original Fuchs.
The seller does not state if the car comes with a full documented history, toolkit, or the original owners manuals.
At the time of this post the current asking price is $44,995.
