Today we are featuring a widow maker! This 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe is finished in Guards Red over a Cork leather interior.
The Guards Red exterior on this 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe is said to be in perfect condition by the seller but unfortunately it was originally finished in Tobacco Metallic. The seller does not note when the color change actually took place and if it was a windows out job.
Some upgrades that have been made include an aftermarket muffler and intake. This 930 Turbo Coupe is sitting on the correct Fuchs wheels.
The Cork leather interior appears to be in good condition. I didn’t notice any cracks or warping on the dashboard and all of the components seem to be present. Both front seats show minimal wear and the carpets/door panels look clean as well. A newer stereo has been installed and it also look like there are some upgraded speakers and an amp as well.
This 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe has been driven 99,189 original miles and is equipped with a 4 speed manual transmission. It should also be noted that the air conditioner has been removed to make the vehicle lighter.
If a color change and somewhat higher miles doesn’t both you then this may be the perfect 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe to get your hands on. This vehicle current passes smog and has been in California for its entire life. Another positive is that it has only had 2 owners.
The seller says that the car runs and drives great without any issues. A recent service included a new clutch, valve adjustment, oil change, oil filter, transmission fluid change, and more.
The original ad was posted about 25 days ago and the sellers current asking price is $85,000.
