Today we are featuring a very clean 1982 Porsche 911 SC targa in Guards Red over Tan interior. It has been very well maintained and all services have been done on time.
The Guards Red exterior looks fantastic in the photos provided in the ad. The seller says that the exterior of the vehicle is near perfection. I didn’t see any major dents or deep scratches while viewing the photos. The red looks very consistent and carries a deep shine all around.
Correct Fuchs wheels are equipped and seller says that the tires are almost new. New targa top with seals.
Just like the exterior, the Tan leather interior looks excellent as well. Its hard to tell from the pictures angle but it looks like both of the front seats are in pretty good condition. A little wear is present but nothing out of the ordinary. Back seats are not pictured.
The brown dash looks great as well. All buttons and knobs seem to be in place and the stereo has been upgraded to a Kenwood unit (seller does not mention if the original is included in the sale). The door panels have been swapped to a more minimalist RS style panel.
This 911 SC has traveled 87,392 original miles and is equipped with a manual transmission.
Overall this seems like a very nice 911 SC to get your hands on if you’re in the market for one. It is getting harder and harder to find them with good miles for a decent price.
In the ad the seller says that this targa is mechanically and cosmetically near perfection. All services have been done on time and also welcomes any interested parties to have a PPI performed.
Recently had its 75,000 miles tune up that included spark plugs, oil change, transmission oil change, fuel filter, adjusted valved, pressured chain tensioner, flywheel and crank seals, chain pump, exhaust valves, new gaskets, belts, hand brake, and repaired the heater blower motor. A sport muffler was also installed along with a new clutch, alternator, fuel bump, belts, window seals, and brakes.
Seller notes in the ad that there was an issue with one of the previous owners title transfers (that has been resolved) where a box was accidentally checked that shouldn’t have been. They claim that it is explained on the AutoCheck and Carfax but those reports are not provided. As always make sure to do your due diligence and have an inspection done by a shop of your choice.
At the time of this post this listing as been available on Craigslist for about 3 days and their current asking price is $33,350.
