This is a nice 1988 Porsche 911 targa in a great color combination of Venentian Blue Metallic over Gray leather interior and just 104,000 original miles. Equipped with the popular G50 manual transmission.
The Venetian Blue Metallic paint shows well with a consistent finish all around the car. The seller doesn’t mention if the paint is original or not in the ad. From the pictures and description from the seller there doesn’t appear to be any noticeable damage, dings, or major scratches in the body. Some small chips are present on the front due to rocks.
The seller mentions that all doors shut correctly, all panels are original with the correct stickers in place, and that the body is straight.
Overall the Gray/Blue interior also looks pretty clean for having just over 100k miles. The car has been smoke and pet free and there aren’t any cracks on the dash. However there is some wear on the driver side seat. Its hard to tell form the picture provided but the driver side bolster appears to be very warn and possibly discolored. Other than that there aren’t any rips or tears. Carpet looks clean.
This G50 targa seems to have been a very well taken care of car and would definitely be a good car for someone looking to get into one for a decent price.
It is a matching numbers car that includes the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and records going all the way back to the original purchase. Targa top is in good shape. Original Fuchs wheels with no curb rash wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Exalto tires.
New front and rear brakes, clutch, pressure plate, alternator, ignition wire set and wiring harness. Engine was rebuilt down to the case at 97,000 miles.
At the time of this post the ad has only been up for a day and the current asking price is $38,500.
