I have been featuring a lot of cabriolets lately so I figured it would be nice to switch it up with a nice driver targa! This 1987 Porsche 911 targa is Guards Red with black leather interior and only 90,802 original miles.
Previously owned by legendary endurance racer Dick Barbour.
This vehicle appears to be in great condition from the pictures. There aren’t any noticeable dings or big scratches in the exterior. There isn’t really good shots showing the seats in the interior, but from the single one provided the front two seats looks like they’re brand new.
The targa top is in good condition.
- 018 Steering wheel with elevated hub
- 158 Cassette-radio Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46
- 341 Central locking system
- 425 Rear window wiper (not working)
- 454 Automatic speed control
- 533 Alarm (not working)
The owner says that this is a great daily driver without any mechanical issues. G50 transmission shifts smooth. Seller has also recently put on new tires, had a service, and passed California smog.
This looks to be a great driver for anyone looking to get into a G50 targa and you can’t really go wrong with the Guards Red / Black combination.
This ad was just posted yesterday and the asking price is $49,999.
