Today we are featuring a stunning Aventurine Green 1996 Porsche 993 Cabriolet with classic Gray leather interior. The seller has spent over $10,000 this year on maintenance and upgrades that enhances the classic 993 experience.
The Dark Blue exterior appears to be in good condition. There are very minimal pictures provided in the ad, but I did not see any major imperfections like dents or large/deep scratches.
This 993 narrow body coupe has a few modifications to the exterior that include a turbo bumper and spoiler along with Champion RG5 wheels.
The Aventurine Green exterior looks to be in great shape. All gaps look correct and I didn’t see any major imperfections in the pictures provided in the ad.
A new cabriolet top has been installed and the top cables have been upgraded to the ones used in a Boxster. The headlight and fog light glass have been replaced and the turn lenses have been converted to clean Euro lenses (originals included in sale).
Tires have about 80-80% tread remaining.
The classic Gray leather interior looks just as clean as the exterior. Dash is crack free and all components appear to be present. Front driver seat has a decent amount of wear that is expected with the mileage. Passenger front seat appears to have minimal wear.
This 993 cabriolet is equipped with the highly desirable 6 speed manual transmission and has an upgraded short-shift kit. Both heat and AC work great. Only 88,050 original miles have been traveled.
Seller claims that the suspension was sloppy so they upgraded to KW V1 coilovers that improve the handling but don’t spoil the ride. Lowered to European height and there is still plenty of clearance for daily driving.
The 90,000 miles service was performed in March of 2017 (been driven 2,000 since). This service included an oil change, air filter, cabin filter, plugs, wires, brake pads, fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor. The front bumper was also pulled and resprayed.
A few more upgrades where added to the vehicle that can be seen in the original ad. Seller says that all original parts are included in the sale.
Overall this is a very nice example of a 993 cabriolet in a beautiful color. It is accident free and never seen a track. A clean title is in hand and the seller is a long time PCA member.
At the time of this post the ad has been live for 13 days and the current asking price is $49,000.
