1989 Porsche 911 Targa Front

The Grand Prix White exterior looks pretty good from the pictures provided in the original ad. I didn’t notice any major imperfections and all of the gaps appear to line up properly on this 1989 Porsche 911 Targa.

Currently sitting on Fuchs replica wheels but the owner does have the originals. The seller says that they took them off to preserve them.

The Black leather interior looks like it was very well taken care of. I didn’t notice any sort of cracks or warps on the dashboard. Both of the front seats show minimal wear. All components appear to be present and in working order. The seller says that the air conditioning blows cold and the heater works great as well.

This 1989 Porsche 911 Targa has been driven 112,786 miles and is equipped with the highly desirable G50 5 speed manual transmission.

The seller believes they are the third owner of this 1989 Porsche 911 Targa and has gone over the car thoroughly. Some mechanical things that have been completed include: full tune up, clutch replacement, new starter, battery, shocks, tie rods upgraded to 930 assemblies, alignment, stainless steel brake lines, pedal box rebuild, new alternator, new engine mounts/cross member and near oil cooler lines in the front and rear.

Some trim and interior pieces that have been addressed include: targa top rebuild by Autobahn Interiors, new turn signal lenses with seals, decklid grill and emblem, door switch caps, illuminated key, factory sunshade, rear view mirror, dome light assembly, and a new stereo system.

This ad was posted about 6 days ago and their asking price is $55,000. The seller says that they are somewhat flexible on the price and that they would potentially be interested in trading for a 964 or 993 coupe in similar condition.
